Musk bundled Cursor with Grok, and Claude now costs extra.
Elon Musk's company SpaceXSI merged its Grok chatbot, the coding tool Cursor and X Premium into one subscription on Monday. Paid plans run from $8 to $200 a month, and rival models like Claude are billed on top. Existing Cursor subscribers keep their current plans unless they choose to switch.
Why it mattersIf you code mostly with Claude or GPT inside Cursor, switching could raise your bill. The old $20 Cursor plan covered $20 of that usage, and the new plans cover none.
