Universal Music will let fans remix songs from artists who agree.
Universal Music and the voice AI firm ElevenLabs signed a multi-year deal on Thursday. They will build a platform where fans make remixes, mashups and new vocal versions of licensed tracks. Only artists and songwriters who opt in take part, and no launch date exists yet.
