Sweden's government offices will block ChatGPT and Claude on Monday.

Sweden's Government Offices will cut staff computers off from ChatGPT and Claude from Monday, public radio Ekot reported. Staff must use approved tools such as Microsoft's Copilot, and the Tax Agency already has a similar block. Some staff keep access to both chatbots through an in-house platform the ministries built themselves.

Why it mattersIf you use a chatbot at work, your employer may soon allow only tools it has a contract with. Pasting work files into a personal AI account is exactly what these bans target.
