Google opened its AI watermark detector to everyone worldwide.
Google opened its SynthID Detector to the public this week, in English only. It only finds Google's invisible watermark, plus ones from OpenAI, Nvidia and Kakao. A clean result proves nothing, because most AI tools add no watermark at all.
Why it mattersYou can now test a suspicious image yourself instead of guessing. But a blank answer is not proof, because the tool clears pictures it cannot read.
