The creator of Rails writes code only when an agent gets it wrong.
Ruby on Rails creator David Heinemeier Hansson told a conference on Thursday that agents write the code. The August total came to 150,000 lines, against a long-run average of 30,000 a year. Hand-written code is now an exception, used to repair an agent that misfires.
