Google's cheapest new model doubles in price on 1 January.
Google released Gemini 3.8 Flash on 2 September, three weeks after the model it replaces. It keeps the old rate of 75 cents per million input tokens and a million-token context. That rate is an introductory offer, and on 1 January input jumps to 1.50 dollars.
