Apple can now expel developers who sneak AI nude tools past review.

Apple updated its App Store review rules on Friday to target apps that make fake nude images with AI. Apps that hide such features during review and add them later face removal, and their makers can lose their accounts. Apps must also actively block and remove nonconsensual intimate images, including AI-made ones.

Why it mattersWatchdogs found dozens of such apps in the App Store this year, some promoted by Apple's own search ads. The new rule targets the developer, not only the app, so returning with a new app gets harder.
