Atlassian will give nonprofits $8 million for AI-era schooling.

The Atlassian Foundation is handing out $8 million over two years to help disadvantaged learners. Registered nonprofits anywhere can apply, and one bid can ask for up to $1 million. Winners also join a peer learning group with travel, and get Atlassian software at no cost. Applications close on 30 October through the Goodstack portal.

Why it mattersMost AI money in education goes to products, not to the schools and groups that must use them. This call is aimed at coalitions, so a small organisation can join a bid it could not win alone.
