The Erdős problems site stopped taking proofs after an AI flood.
Thomas Bloom, who runs erdosproblems.com, froze new comments and proof claims on Tuesday. He says the site's 9,000 comments now mostly advertise AI proofs that nobody explains. The site also dropped its open and solved labels for all 1,221 problems.
Why it mattersOpen problem lists are where AI labs now hunt for headline results. The people who keep those lists are starting to shut the door.
