AWS says its free agent wrapper runs Claude at a quarter the price.
Amazon's cloud arm released Strands Harness on Monday, a free program that turns any model into a working agent. On one coding test it ran Anthropic's Fable 5 for $56 while Claude Code spent $248. Strands scored higher on that test, and AWS puts the average saving at 45 percent.
