Claude can now split one job among up to 1,000 agents.
Anthropic opened dynamic workflows in beta on 9 October for Claude Managed Agents, its hosted agent service. A lead agent writes a program that runs up to 1,000 helper agents, 64 at a time. In Anthropic's own test it found 66 of 70 planted bugs, against 14 to 27 for one agent.
Why it mattersBig reviews can now run as one background job instead of many manual sessions. Every extra agent burns tokens, so Anthropic advises starting small.
