OpenAI's promised desks and badges for safety testers have vanished.
OpenAI said on Tuesday it will let outside groups test its models during training, not only before release. Ten days earlier Sam Altman had promised evaluators desks, badges, laptops and the right to publish. Tuesday's post names no partner, sets no timeline, and offers office access only for sensitive work.
