Google will build you a playable game from a sentence you type.
Google Labs opened Playground on Wednesday, a site where you describe a game and get a playable one. You can share it by link, publish it to a public gallery and play other people's games in a browser. It is United States only, for ages 18 and up, with creation limits tied to your Google AI plan.
Why it mattersMaking even a small game used to mean learning an engine, which kept most people out. Describing one instead puts game-making where writing an essay already is.
