Dymocks Tutoring is closing its five Sydney centres and pointing families to ChatGPT or Gemini. Its chief said parents paying up to $900 a subject would do better with a $30 monthly plan. The centres shut this week, and the group blames AI for making paid tutoring uncompetitive.
