Reliance Jio now streams a PC to any old computer in India.
Jio opened its JioPC cloud service to every internet user in India on 2 September. The stream carries a virtual machine with eight processors, 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage. Plans start near 11 dollars for two months and run on machines up to eight years old.
Why it mattersRunning AI tools no longer needs a new laptop if your connection holds steady. India had over 65 million PCs in use and most cannot handle modern models.
