Alibaba's next models are planned at up to 10 trillion parameters.
Alibaba said on Tuesday that Qwen4 is already training on a new architecture. The team plans 5 to 10 trillion parameters for Qwen4.5 and Qwen5, the versions after it. A new video generation model is due in November.
