Google will hand teachers free AI badges in a ten-hour session.
Google is running a free online Badge-a-thon for school teachers on Saturday 19 September. It runs from 9am to 7pm US Eastern time, and each badge takes under 15 minutes. The badges follow ISTE standards, the technology framework most American schools recognise. Anyone can sign up at goo.gle/GESBadgeathon, and the training itself stays free on demand.
Why it mattersSchools push teachers to use AI but rarely give them proof they were trained. A recognised badge earned in one afternoon is the cheapest evidence on offer.
