OpenAI said 10,000 of its agents found a singularity in the Navier-Stokes equations, a Millennium Prize problem. GPT-6 Astra cleared the last tier of FrontierMath, and 25 Fields medallists signed a letter against it. One attacker used AI agents to break into 395 organisations through a printing server flaw. Anthropic chief Dario Amodei asked the industry to slow down, and Sam Altman agreed the same day. Altman also ruled out a listing this year, saying the safety work is not finished.
