Google is cutting free Gemini users down to its smallest model.
Google will limit free Gemini accounts to its smallest model, Flash-Lite, from 9 October. Free users lose Flash, and paid AI Plus subscribers lose the stronger Pro model. The change lands days after Google launched its new flagship, Gemini 4 Argon.
