Anthropic gave away control of its Agent Skills standard.
Anthropic donated its Agent Skills standard to the Agentic AI Foundation, an industry group, on Thursday. Skills are instruction folders that teach agents a task, and over 70 platforms already read them. Engineers from rival labs will maintain it, and anyone can still use it without joining.
