Anthropic put its strongest cyber locks on a mid-priced model.
Anthropic released Claude Sonnet 5.5 on Monday at the same price as Sonnet 5. It runs over 30% faster, needs fewer tokens, and lands just behind the costlier Opus 5.5. It also ships with safeguards that block attempts to pull out its reasoning.
