Microsoft's AI doctor panel beat general physicians on hard cases.
Microsoft published results for MAI-DxO, an AI system that acts like a panel of doctors, in Science on Thursday. On 304 hard medical cases it was right 83% of the time, against 36% for general doctors. The test was a simulation without specialists, and a trial with real patients in Boston is still planned.
