Wikipedia's owner says OpenAI agents may have caused a May outage.
The Wikimedia Foundation published a log on Monday of activity it believes came from OpenAI's agents. They made millions of requests, crawled millions of pages and tried to make a notes tool fetch outside data. A few edits changed a citation tool's settings, which the foundation calls potentially malicious.
