One command restores the Apple Intelligence off switch Apple deleted.
A free tool called RemoveMacAI switches off Apple Intelligence on macOS 27 and removes its models. Apple dropped the single off switch in the new version, and turning features off left the models on disk. The tool hit the Hacker News front page on Sunday and every change it makes can be reverted.
Why it mattersIf your Mac is short on space, those unused models are among its biggest files. It also shows users will rebuild an off switch a vendor takes away.
