Activision took down Call of Duty browser ports built with AI agents.
Activision sent copyright takedown notices against browser versions of two old Call of Duty games, XDA reported on 11 October. Developer Luckey Faraday built them with AI coding agents and says every game is now offline. His project pages said the maps, models and animations came from the original PC games.
Why it mattersAI agents make rebuilding an old game far easier, but copyright law has not moved. If you build on someone else's files, expect the owner to notice.
