A Brazilian state's AI writing tutor won UNESCO's education prize.
UNESCO gave its 2026 education technology prize to two projects on 9 September. Brazil's Redação Paraná uses AI to mark student writing in 2,000 schools, reaching 850,000 pupils. A Finnish university programme shared the prize, and each winner received 25,000 dollars.
