Claude now makes editable documents and slide decks inside your chat.
Anthropic said on 16 September that the chat window and the separate Cowork app become one. Two new tools, Docs and Slides, draft files you can edit and download in Office formats. Pro and Max subscribers get it first, and Free and Team plans follow later.
Why it mattersIf your work ends in a document or a deck, the assistant now hands you the finished file. Anthropic is also betting that one window beats asking you to choose a mode.
