OpenAI quietly halved Astra's hallucination rate after launch.
OpenAI changed several benchmark figures in its GPT-6 Astra blog post over the hours after Thursday's launch. The stated hallucination rate fell from 4.2% to 2%, then went back to 4.2%. OpenAI says it made fixes so the numbers show its best estimate.
