Reflection will hand out a 501-billion-parameter model for free.
Reflection announced Beam on Monday, an open model with 501 billion parameters and 23 billion active. It scores 80.9 on a standard bug-fixing test, close to the strongest Chinese open models. The weights arrive under a free licence later this month, after a final safety review.
