Vietnam starts teaching AI from the first grade
The education ministry published an AI framework covering grades one through twelve. The mandatory core is twelve lesson hours a year, roughly one class a fortnight. The system holds over 27 million students and more than 1.4 million teachers.
Why it mattersThe modesty of the number is the design; ambitious national curricula fail at delivery. Vietnam will learn within a year whether a fortnightly lesson teaches anything.
