Four King's College London researchers tested eight models on driving scenes where a pedestrian wanted to cross. One vision model stopped for 7 percent of fair-skinned pedestrians and none with very dark skin. Gender, age, religion and disability shifted the answers too, and GPT-4o drifted least.
