Samsung led the €3 billion round that doubled Mistral's valuation.
Mistral, the Paris lab behind open French AI models, closed a Series D round on Tuesday. Samsung led it, lifting the valuation to over €21 billion from €11.7 billion last year. It is the largest equity raise by a European tech company, and pays for data centres.
