Anthropic says Claude writes so much code that it had to replace Git.
Anthropic said Tuesday it moved its main code store off Git onto Scion, a system it built in five months. Its merged code changes rose from about 2,500 a day in May to over 30,000 in September. Anthropic does not plan to release Scion but will share its ideas with GitHub and GitLab.
