Google offers 10,000 scientists free use of its top AI coding tier.
Researchers at universities, non-profit institutes or national labs can apply if their work is non-commercial. Those selected get six months of Antigravity, Google's AI coding tool, at its highest tier with Gemini 4 Argon. You apply through an interest form linked from Google's Argon announcement, using a personal or university Google account. No closing date is given, and Google picks people weekly and contacts only those selected.
Why it mattersThat top tier normally needs Google's most expensive subscription, so this removes a real cost for lab work. Demand is high, so apply early and describe your research clearly.
