OpenAI slashes GPT-5.6 Luna prices 80% as Chinese models close in
Just three weeks after launch, OpenAI cut GPT-5.6 Luna to $0.20 per million input tokens and $1.20 per million output tokens — roughly 80% less. Terra fell 20% to $2 and $12, while the flagship Sol stays unchanged. OpenAI credits serving-efficiency improvements for the reduction.
