Josh Hawley and Chris Murphy introduced a bipartisan bill on Thursday about hacking by AI agents. It would let prosecutors charge the people who run an agent that recklessly breaks into computers. Developers face the same liability if they skipped reasonable safeguards against a known hacking risk.
