OpenAI says it hit its own deadline for an AI research intern.
OpenAI said on Sunday its agents can now run research tasks that would take a skilled person days. By mid-August the lab ran 3.1 agent workdays for every human workday of its own. Its next target is a fully automated AI researcher by March 2028.
