Developers think a free mystery model belongs to Thinking Machines.
A free model named Fledge Alpha appeared in the coding tool OpenCode on 1 October with no lab named. Developers suspect Mira Murati's lab Thinking Machines, after spotting its Tinker product in OpenCode's code. Nobody has confirmed it, and the technical test that would settle the question came back empty.
Why it mattersThe model is free and reads very long texts, so you can try it today. Treat the owner as unknown, because an unclaimed model promises you nothing about your code.
