American campaigns are buying ChatGPT even though it bans their ads.

The Washington Post checked campaign finance filings and found 39 congressional candidates paying for OpenAI subscriptions. OpenAI bars candidates from making ads with its tools, yet two said in filings they did. About 30 parties and committees also pay OpenAI, led by the Republican National Committee at 9,700 dollars.
