India is staking more on deep tech than it spent in a decade.
The government has committed $11 billion to a fund covering artificial intelligence, chips, drones and space. A venture industry body told CNBC that private matching should lift the pot near $25 billion. India spent about $11.6 billion on deep tech across the whole of the last decade.
