Qualcomm unveiled two 2-nanometre phone chips at its Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii on Tuesday. Qualcomm says its top chip runs a 30-billion-parameter model, a capable chatbot's size, on the phone alone. Nine makers including Xiaomi and OnePlus plan handsets, with the first arriving late this year.
