ChatGPT's ads are now a billion-dollar-a-year business.
OpenAI said on 31 August that ChatGPT Ads passed one billion dollars in annualised revenue. It took under 200 days, and tens of thousands of advertisers now buy space there. The business is expanding to more than 40 countries, including India and much of Europe.
