Meta denies its agent read a writer's messages without permission.
A columnist at Inc magazine said Meta's Muse agent quoted his private Messages after he refused it access. He found Muse had copied his message database to row 187,462 while full disk access stayed off. Meta says two separate settings must be switched on and that macOS blocks any other route.
Why it mattersMuse is Meta's assistant for Mac, and it can reach mail, files and messages you approve. When a user and a company disagree about permissions, the settings screen is not proof.
