Google's new office agent also runs on rival Anthropic's Claude.
Google Cloud launched Gemini Agent on Thursday, one assistant for all office work. It can create coworker agents that get their own company email and calendar. The agent already routes work to Anthropic's Claude, and Google named no price.
Why it mattersPicking a vendor no longer picks your model, because the agent chooses one per task. An agent with its own email also changes who reaches your files.
