A UN contest on AI in education takes entries until 15 September.
The UNU Global AI Network runs a youth competition on AI and education, open worldwide. Anyone can enter free of charge, as an individual, a group or a company under ten years old. Projects must already work outside the lab, and the entry form is in English. Entries close on 15 September, and finalists in Macau get a hotel and up to $1,000 for travel.
Why it mattersMost AI programmes want a university address, this one wants a project that already runs. This year's theme is classroom AI, so teachers and students are the intended entrants.
