Boston trained 25 teachers to lead AI lessons across its schools.
Boston Public Schools named its first group of AI Educator Ambassadors on 1 September. The 25 teachers, one per school, trained for a week under a $1 million gift from Paul English. Each will run an AI project with students this year, and the district plans to double the group.
Why it mattersSeveral big districts spent this month writing rules that ban AI, and Boston spent money teaching it. Which approach works will show up in these classrooms first.
