Google will train 650,000 British and Irish teachers on AI for free.
Google opened its free AI Educator Series to every teacher and school leader in the UK and Ireland. Modules run 15 to 45 minutes and cover lesson planning, marking, inclusive design and student support. Teachers earn badges, and a new toolkit helps schools write their own AI rules.
Why it mattersMost teachers have had no AI training, yet they face pupils who already use it daily. Short free courses are the fastest way to close that gap in your school.
