Israel is letting AI into its school-leaving exams this year.
Israel's education ministry opened the 2026-27 school year with AI inside more than ten STEM exam tracks. Twenty-seven schools now run a dedicated AI track, and 12,000 teachers will be trained. Eighth and ninth graders take a 20-hour course on using AI and spotting false information.
