A video site now gives away the best-scoring open translation model.
China's video platform Bilibili released Index-Translate, a family of open translation models covering 150 languages. The 35-billion-parameter preview ranked first on the FLORES benchmark among 14 models tested. Bilibili opened a free, OpenAI-compatible interface for it on Sunday.
