USA Today's owner sued OpenAI in a Manhattan federal court on Thursday over 19 newspapers it owns. The complaint counts over 160,000 of their entries in one public training set and 122 million tokens in another. OpenAI has not answered the claims, and the papers also want a court order against further copying.
